Irem Dogan has extensive experience advising corporate and individual clients on U.S. immigration matters. She partners with organizations ranging from Fortune 500 companies to startups, as well as academic institutions, healthcare organizations, and nonprofit entities, to develop and implement strategic immigration and compliance solutions aligned with their operational and business objectives. Irem counsels clients on both short- and long-term immigration strategies, including the sponsorship of foreign nationals for temporary/nonimmigrant visas, permanent residence, and citizenship. Her practice encompasses a broad spectrum of employment-based and family-based matters, including H-1B, L-1, E, O-1, TN, PERM, NIW, and EB-1 through EB-3 petitions, as well as consular and marriage-based applications. She also advises employers on Form I-9 compliance, audits, and the immigration implications of corporate restructuring, including mergers and acquisitions. Irem is known for her adaptive, solutions-oriented approach that is tailored to her clients' needs, spanning both high-volume immigration programs and complex, high-touch matters. She is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA), the Turkish American Business Association, and the Turkish Women’s International Network. She has been a featured speaker on business immigration panels and was selected to Super Lawyers Rising Stars from 2016 to 2019. Irem earned her J.D. from Brooklyn Law School, where she served as Associate Managing Editor of the Brooklyn Journal of International Law, and her B.A. in International Studies from American University’s School of International Service in Washington, D.C. Prior to joining LTF, Irem was a Member of a commercial law firm, where she led the firm’s immigration practice. Previously, she served as a Partner in the immigration practice group of a prominent Manhattan law firm and began her career at a global immigration firm, where she focused on complex employment-based matters. As an immigrant herself, Irem has devoted her career to the practice of immigration law.
